Dave Lukas Chats with Chris Croner323: What it Means to Have Sales “Drive” and How to Never Hire a Bad Salesperson Again with Chris Croner
This week’s Misfit Entrepreneur is Chris Croner. Chris is an entrepreneur and sales psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He is the founder of SalesDrive which has helped over 1400 companies select and develop high-performance salespeople using their methods and assessment technology. Chris is also the co-author of the best-selling book, Never Hire a Bad Salesperson Again. I am excited to have Chris on because sales and selling is one of the topics I am very passionate about. Sales are the lifeblood of a business and great salespeople who are devoted to the success of their companies are diamonds in the rough that every entrepreneur should be seeking. Chris has developed the methodology to find and hire them. www.SalesDrive.info (complimentary assessment) Show NotesChris’s background was in clinical psychology, and he specialized in providing consulting to businesses management. He started at a firm called Whitmer and Associates which specialized in executive assessment. When companies wanted to hire key leaders or new CEO’s, they would hire firms like Whitmer with people Chris that would evaluate them. During this time, he worked to design something as rigorous as the evaluation for executives for salespeople because they are such integral role to the success of a business.
In October of 2002, he began doing that work and then in 2005, he went out on his own and founded SalesDrive and published the first edition of Never Hire a Bad Salesperson Again in 2006. For over 20 years, he has been obsessed with studying what makes a great salesperson. What makes a great salesperson?

Misfits, you’ve no doubt heard of Shopify before, but it you haven’t checked all the platform does for you, you’re missing out.
It is designed for anyone to sell anywhere, giving entrepreneurs like myself the resources once reserved for big business - customized for my needs - with a great looking online store that brings my idea to life, and tools to manage my day-to-day and drive sales. It will do the same for you. Making your idea real opens endless possibilities; it’s a journey but that's the beauty of entrepreneurship – but we don’t have to make it unnecessarily hard on ourselves. Years ago, when I started my first online businesses, it was crazy. I had to piece everything together with different platforms, etc. It was like a Frankenstein. I would have done anything for a solution like Shopify and that is why I love it so much. I love how Shopify makes it easy for anyone to successfully run their own business and they power millions of entrepreneurs just like me and you - from first-sale to full-scale. Every twenty-eight seconds a small business owner makes their first sale on Shopify. And you can get started easily by building and customizing your online store with no coding or design experience, access powerful tools to help you find customers, drive sales, and manage your day-to-day. Even gain knowledge and confidence with extensive resources to help you succeed. Plus, with 24/7 support, you’re never alone. More than a store, Shopify grows with you. This possibility, all powered by Shopify. And right now, Shopify is giving Misfit Listeners a 14-day FREE trial. Just go to www.Shopify.com/misfit (ALL LOWERCASE) Misfits, you’ve heard me talk about my trading and investing many times. I’ve been in the game for almost 20 years and have taught thousands of students all over the world my strategies. One thing I have always looked for are trends that are a good opportunity for investors.
And when you see a billionaire investor with a great track recording building a position in a company, it’s something to take notice of. That is exactly what is happening with Eric Sprout of Sprout Capital Partners right now in Silver Mountain Resources, ticker symbol AGMRF. Right now, silver and precious metals are poised to do well in weathering the current economic storm and Sprout knows it calling it one of the best opportunities in the markets. Silver Mountain Resources owns Reliquias, a silver asset with 81MN historical ounces and is run by South America’s most successful mining dynasty. At its current valuation, investors are paying $0.16/ounce of silver which is extremely cheap. I’ve always loved precious metals like gold and silver as a store of value and a hedge against inflation and have traded many companies like Silver Mountain who have appreciated hundreds of percent. While no one can guarantee that will happen with Silver Mountain and I am not giving your financial advice (you should consult with your financial adviser), I do see great opportunity for the company and looks to be at a big discount to value. To learn more about Silver Mountain Resources and stay up to date with the company’s success, go to https://agmr.ca/ Consult your financial adviser and check out Silver Mountain Resources today! |
